Not quite as widely known as other wines from Chehalem Mountains. In addition, there has been a lowering of demand in the past year. Critic tasting note: (2018 vintage) "Produced with the intentionally oxidized black Chardonnay method, this single-vineyard selection is old Wente clone fruit from a site originally planted by Dick Erath a half century ago. It's a nicely textured wine, weaving together ripe apple fruit, buttery pie crust, a lick of salted caramel and a vein of dried rosemary. The balance overall is outstanding. Paul Gregutt"
