Sweet wine made only with botrytised berries. The Altenbourg vineyard, with its limestone and clay soil, produces opulent Gewurztraminer with great aromatic complexity, elegant structure and aging potential. This has a delicate and complex nose of quince jelly, honeysuckle and raisins. Opulent and rich in the mouth, the vibrant structure keeps the wine in focus. Long and lingering finish without any overt residual sweetness. Just a blinder of a sweet wine with a finesse and purity that only the greatest sweet wines of Germany can match. Rose and tropical fruit notes are encased in honey, all presented in an elegant manner. Subtle, lingering finish."
