Given its luxurious beginnings, Italy's Massolino Moscato d'Asti 2020 is as fine of a moscato as one can find. Growing from a extremely small plot of land (1.5 hectares), this Moscato is hand harvested from the calcareous soils of Serralunga d'Alba. The wine that results is savoury and complex, not to mention extremely delicious. Bursting with chamomile, pear, citrus, and acacia flower on the nose, it rewards with a dry, chalky finish with a twist of sage leaf leaving you wishing for just a bit more. Superb with desserts or with somewhat spicy and mature cheeses.
