The Barolo Romirasco of Aldo Conterno is a strong and tannic wine, made with grapes that come from the Romirasco vineyard in Bussia, in the Monforte district. This wine has a great ruby red color; the bouquet is large and complex, floreal and fruity with rose and violet aroma. It has also wild rose, raspberry, jam, truffle, black pepper, licorice and tobacco notes. The taste is sapid, equilibrate and persistent; it is perfect if drunk together with important platters based on red meats, seasoned cheeses and first courses with rich sauces. The Barolo Rominasco of Aldo Conterno is a long-running wine, to hold in cellar in order to refine its characteristics.
