Domaine Gerard Duplessis - Chablis 1er Cru Montmains 2019

Domaine Gerard Duplessis is a family run cellar  today managed by Lilian Duplessis. Every vineyard is worked in accordance to organic farming since 2007. All vineyards used for village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru wines are on the famous Kimmeridgian limestone, Montmains - the 'medium sized mountain' - is one of the largest Premier Crus and faces south west and Duplessis occupies 3 hectares making it the largest parcel of the Domaine and intersetingly comprises the oldest vines, up to 80 years. One parcel  lies on the border between Montmains & Foret and then the second soley in the latter Foret. Lilian considers this his favourite Cru with all the typicity Chablis is known for.
