Dried raspberry and preserved plums, black currant and smoky oak. Dry as the wine touches the palate then a core of berry fruit flavours and baking spices of barrel show energy and power absorbing the dryness and flourishing across all corners. Tannins and abundant, finely textured with some chalky highlights, acidity sets the back bone in place. A complex and lengthy wine that requires exactly the right food or time in your cellar the age a further 1-3 years first.
