Benjamin Leroux has a gentle touch with his red wines, deftly coaxing the most pleasurable parts out of each pocket of Burgundy that he works with. For the Nuits-Saint-Georges, historically perhaps a more structured and at times rigid communes on the Côte-d'Or, Leroux finds softness and finesse. This vintage, the assemblage is evenly divided between Aux Saint-Jacques and Aux Herbues, situated along the Vosne border, and a plot located in the northern section of Fleurières, just to the south of the town. Extremely limited.
