This Petit Chablis is from vines located at the top of the hill of Grand Crus only metres from the Grand Cru Valmur and also this wine includes another very small 0.4 ha planting also at the crest of the hill of Grand Cru Vaudesir. This wine shows amazing depth and detail and provides remarkable value. An absolute bargain but unfortunately very limited quantities! More fruit defined rather than structure - however defined, chiselled and focused with strong citrus fruit, salt laden brine and herbal characters. The acidity is brilliant on this wine - dry, clean and clear cut, with a weightier mid palate to give depth and dimension to this wine with only 12.5% alcohol.
