The Chablis Les Pargues may well be described as the secret weapon of the domaine. It possesses great concentration and ability to punch above its weight class. This is in part due to its "Vieille Vignes" (old vine material) upwards of 50 years, and part its extaordinary position on ridge between the Montmains and Vosgros Premiers Crus, on thin stoney topsoils. Yields are remarkably low, averaging between 15 - 25 hl/H, a lot lower than the norm for the region.
