Champs Chenys is directly downslope from grand cru Charmes-Chambertin, it’s surrounded on three sides by Grand Cru vineyards. The vines range from 35 to 110 years old. A slightly more deeply pitched nose speaks of red and dark currant scents that are laced with hints of earth and a whisper of the sauvage.
