"The 2021 Hartford Court Russian River Valley Chardonnay offers subtle aromas of jasmine flower, citrus oil, green apple, and pear. The elegant aromatics are complemented by fresh kiwi, lemon drop, and green apple flavors. The fruit-focused mid-palate is followed by subtle mineral notes and a hint of crystallized ginger in the finish.

Sourced from several vineyards within the Russian River Valley AVA (Laguna Ridge, Green Valley and Russian River itself) this Chardonnay is an excellent example of the regions style. After sorting by hand, the grapes are whole bunch pressed in French oak and stainless steel (10%). After a spontaneous, wild yeast fermentation the wine matured for 10 months in 26% new French oak barrels. Bottled without filtering or fining." - Hartford Court
