This Cabernet Sauvignon is named after Stephen's father and one of Australia's winemaking pioneers, Cyril Henschke. In the late 1960's, it was Cyril who planted the Cabernet Sauvignon vines in the Henschke vineyard - so it only makes sense that the resulting wine from the grapes bears his legacy. It's an enchanting expression of Cabernet - herbs, purple florals, blackberries, plums and cherries with earthy notes and fine grained tannin. A beauty of a wine from an outstanding vintage.
