This wine is great! Similar to wine from Napa, fullbody, but good value, I would guess the price is around $300 if blend tasting. Legacy Peak Kalavinka is a blended wine. The 19 month Oak Barrel aging process presents a bright ruby red color with mature tints. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot bring rich aromas of strawberries, red plums and green peppers. Merlot brings a soft while firm mouth feel, with balanced acidity, and a long finish. If you plan to drink it in early years, open it for more than 1 hour before drinking. The advantage of aeration is obvious: the aroma changes from the sharp acidity to the silky fruit aroma, which is soft and ample. The wine could be paired with meat. It's a great companion for friends gathering moments.
