Léoville Las Cases 'Historical Vintages' - The Collection MIR/OIЯ 2nd part

If you have been fortunate enough to visit Chateau Léoville Las Cases, you have perhaps admired two twin Italian mirrors from the 18th Century. In fact, if you chose to look at them closely, you may have noted some minute differences. These two magnificent objects were what inspired the creation of this collection case.

The “Collection Miroir” is a very limited edition of two sister cases, one complementing the other, one reflecting the other. The first one is named “Millésimes Secrets” – Secret Vintages and the other one will be “Millésimes Historiques” – Historical Vintages.

The consistency of the Grand Vin of Léoville Las Cases is such that many vintages would have deserved to be included in this case. So, they decided to create two cases instead of one.

Each bottle has been matured in the cellar of the Château until being prepared with a special wax capsule and then laid in the collection case.
