The Joly family owns 2.77 of the appellation (about 10%). A single vineyard mid slope adjacent to Clos de la Coulee de Serrant, facing east. The soils, composed primarily of schist, are slightly deeper—ranging from approximately 30 to 80 cm.  This wine offers a striking balance of richness and freshness, with notes of ripe stone fruits and against a backbone of signature Savennières minerality and pithiness.
