Pierre Gaillard grows Viognier in a granitic spot high in the hills of Condrieu - it has a drive and lightness to it that other expressions may lack.

Incredibly floral and aromatic as great Viognier should have, with orange and lemon blossoms, plus some herbal spice and aniseed.

It’s full-bodied, of course, with high quality oak giving structure and touch of toastiness. But we loved the brightness and verve, plus the super long finish.

Utterly delicious, and not just for the Viognier-lovers.
