Pierre-Vincent Girardin is the 13th generation of his family to make wine in Burgundy, learning in the cellar of his father, Vincent Girardin, from a very young age. When the elder Girardin sold his domaine in 2011, he retained 4.5 hectares of his best sites to pass on to his son. In 2017, Pierre-Vincent made his first vintage and has since established himself as a rising star. The village Gevrey is made from 25+ year-old vines from two sites: Clos Prieur and La Justice. 25% whole clusters are used and the wine is aged for 12 months in large barrels. Incredible quality here. Practicing organic.
