This is Pyramid Valley's venture down south to Central Otago, purchasing the old vine Lowburn Ferry vineyard in 2018 and renaming it Manata Estate, and currently undergoing organic and biodynamic certification. This sits on the lighter, silkier side of Otago Pinot, and has an air of elegance rather than grunt. Bright cherry and raspberry fruit, and some exotic spices, and some whole bunchy herbal notes. A sheer delight to drink.
