The 2019 Côte de Nuits-Villages, from the usual vines in Brochon, includes 34% whole bunch and one-third new oak. It has an intense nose of black cherries, blueberry and light violet aromas, plus just a faint marine note in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet entry, offering a mixture of red and black fruit, white pepper and a fine structure toward the finish. This is a delightful cuvée from Sylvie Esmonin.’ Score 88-91 Drink 2023-2030 Neil Martin
