Vasse Felix Tom Cullity Cabernet Malbec 2018

Named after estate founder, Dr Tom Cullity, this is a single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec. It descends from Tom’s original vines and is the pinnacle of Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon. Deeply coloured, it almost explodes with dark fruit aromas plus violets and a faint leafiness. Pure cassis with flashes of inky malbec flavours are then supported by chewy, firmish tannins. There is a delicious purity of fruit maybe without quite the density of the best vintages although a long, complex and seamless finish is impressive. An elegant, long-lived Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon is your thing then this will not disappoint.
