Pale pink in color, this wine exhibits exceedingly delicate aromas and flavors of red berries and flowers, accentuated by a delightful spicy undertone and a hint of minerality. It offers a pleasingly juicy texture and refreshing saline acidity, culminating in a long and slightly tactile finish.

The unyielding commitment of the Gallo family to vineyards and winemaking, spanning over a century, is deeply ingrained in the hard work and perseverance of individuals such as Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco, and their kin. Gianfranco, who has overseen the estate since 1978, implemented groundbreaking viticultural programs and dedicated meticulous attention to winemaking practices; these endeavors have imbued Vie di Romans wines with a distinctive personality over the past two decades. Several pivotal milestones marked this historic journey. In 1978, the inaugural bottling and label hit the market, followed by vineyard reorganization aimed at enhancing quality in 1982. The construction of the new three-storey winery building took place in 1989. From 1990 onwards, wines from distinct vineyards were vinified separately, and by 1992, with the release of the 1990 vintage, the tradition was established of releasing all white wines a full two years after harvest
