DOMAINE GERARD DUPLESSIS - Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre 2018

Domaine Gérard Duplessis is a family run cellar  today managed by Lilian Duplessis. Every vineyard is worked in accordance to organic farming since 2007 and all vineyards used for village, Premier Cru, and Grand Cru wines are on the famous Kimmeridgian limestone. The lieu-dit of Montee de Tonnerre is actually quite small at only six hectares, but when it takes in the neighbouring lieu-dits of Chapelot, Cote de Brechain and Pied d’Aloue (many vignerons will name them as Montee de Tonnerre) it rises to over forty hectares in size. It is considered one of the finest Premier Cru’s known for its seamless balance and archetypal style.
