Adelina are kicking some serious goals as of late. Their stylish packaging, the amazing old vine fruit they utilise, the 'house style' of the wines, all are coming up trumps for this Clare Valley couple.

Once again Col McBryde's new release fits squarely in the 'new wave' of Grenache sweeping the Australian wine industry - fine-boned and high-toned, a bit like Col himself.

The fruit stems from a stunning 80+-year-old vineyard on the Adelina property, and is left on skins for just over 2 weeks in concrete vats prior to pressing to neutral barrels. This extracts maximum character from the fruit in its purest form. Freshness and age-worthiness reign supreme here, and there is even a rock, mineral feel on the finish.
