Adelina Nebbiolo 2019

The Adelina vineyards are situated in Spring Farm Valley, just south of the township of Clare. Their neighbours include the famous vineyards of Wendouree, Aberfeldy and Sevenhill Cellars. Established in 2002, Adelina is one of the Clare Valley's most exciting wine producers, delivering a modern take on some of the region's hero varietals.

For several years, Adelina has been working with an exciting parcel of Nebbiolo fruit from the Bowe Lees Loveys vineyard at Woodside. Lovingly managed by Adam Loveys, Anne Lees and Michael Bowe; sadly the growers lost their property and most of their vines in the tragic fires late in 2019. As a result, this will be the last release of what has been a beacon in Australia’s Nebbiolo scene. The 2019 Adelina Nebbiolo is bottled with as much primary charm as possible, and boy, does it shine; it’s a fitting tribute to a much-missed vineyard.
