Estate-grown (Nuriootpa) cabernet sauvignon sourced from a single block planted in 1944. Aged in new French and American oak puncheons for 24 months. Very tightly coiled aromatic profile showing blackberry, cassis and blackcurrant fruits sheathed in fruitcake spice, briar, espresso, pressed flowers, earth and dried herbs. Fruit pure with a graceful line across the palate, chocolaty oak, fine tannin and an elegant cassis-laden exit.
