Inama Carmenere Piu Veneto Rosso IGT 2018

This Inama Piu is a blend of Carmenère 85% and Merlot 15% coming from a southern oriented vineyard located Lonigo and San Germano dei Berici (VI) at an altitude of 50-250 m above sea level

The grapes are picked by hand and then destemmed. After 12 days of maceration in upright stainless steel fermenters, the wine ages for 12 months in 2nd year 225l French oak barriques.

In the glass, the Carmenere Più is a vibrant ruby red with a purple rim in the glass. The wine has a pronounced nose with black cherry, soy, cocoa, violets and some lava stone. In the mouth, the wine is elegant with fresh acidity, firm, integrated tannins and a very good length. A perfect wine with salami (sopressa, sopressa with garlic) and Val Liona DOP ham and grilled pork.
