A stunning entry level Bourgogne Blanc from one of Burgundy's best, Olivier Leflaive, and it doesn't break the bank like so many these days. It's medium bodIed is well integrated and ready to drink. The acidity is softer in this vintage so enjoy this one in its youth. The palate is sturdy and mineral, a lovely Chardonnay from Burgundy, fit for any lover of the variety. “The wine is a blend of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet fruit, hence its lowly Bourgogne appellation. There is nothing lowly about this richly fruity wine. A mix of wood and tank aging has produced a crisp wine with touches of spice, delicious acidity and a zesty, mineral texture” Wine Enthusiast
